Abstract

Much work has been done related to the qualitative osseous anatomy of the wrist yet there are still very few references for its quantitative geometric, biomechanic, or kinematic characteristics.'"' Because of the structural complexity and morphological variations of the wrist, a reference database of normal anatomy and kinematics would provide valuable reference information which will facilitate diagnosis and treatment of various injuries and diseases.
