Abstract
The role of intensified fluorescence in biotechnology and chemistry was discussed. It was found that the radiative decay engineering used metal particles to enhance fluorescence. The metal particle were found to enhance the intrinsic emission of DNA which exihibited an extremely low quantum yield. The analysis showed that metal particle were useful for spatially localized excitations.
