Abstract
1. Under the assumption of discrete generations the general nature of the limiting behaviour of a genetic population is studied in case of gametic selection. 2. A comparison is attempted to compare an inbred (to an extent F) population with a random mating one with respect to rate of approach to the limiting structure which is in fact the same for both the populations under the force of gametic selection.
