Area of Expertise

The research focus in my lab is primarily at the interface of stem cell and cancer biology. We use systems biology approaches to understand how gene expression, protein posttranslational modifications, and signaling networks are regulated in normal and pathological development of human cells. With the knowledge from our study, we also work on the identification of novel targets and the development of new therapeutic approaches for human disease, including cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders, by modulating the novel targets.
