Area of Expertise
Dr. Toyya Goodrich cares for infants, children and teenagers up to 18 years of age. Her philosophy is to focus pediatric care on patient education and preventative medicine. She loves children, understands the fears and concerns of parents, and provides excellent patient care in an efficient manner.
Dr. Goodrich has spent time teaching didactic courses for physician assistant and medical students and she currently works with medical students, dietetic students and interns on their core rotations. She active in the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been voted Top Docs several years in a row. Prior to joining UNTHSC, Dr. Goodrich received her pediatric training at the University of Arkansas for the Medical Sciences and worked at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
