Dr. Surve is currently board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, neuromusculoskeletal medicine, and pain medicine. He also received medical acupuncture certification through the Helms Medical Institute via the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Throughout his career, Dr. Surve has distinguished himself as an educator and leader. He has given lectures at the local, regional, and national levels on various topics including osteopathic manipulation, medical acupuncture, complementary and alternative therapies, responsible opioid prescribing, and performing arts medicine.
