Katrina Roop, DO is an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM). She is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. Dr. Roop graduated in 2007 from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (now NSU Florida Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine). She completed her internship and residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando in 2010, and practiced Family Medicine, Urgent Care, and Academic Medicine from 2010 to 2019. While maintaining part-time faculty status, she completed a second residency in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Medical City Fort Worth from July 2019 to June 2021. She has resumed her practice at TCOM, where she serves as the Director of the Medical Practice course and Clinical Reasoning.
