Area of Expertise

My goal is to protect human health by reducing exposure to potentially harmful chemicals. Specifically, I am interested in chemicals that are found in household and consumer products. Much of my research efforts to date have focused on the health and toxicological effects associated with exposure to bisphenol chemicals and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Recently, I have focused on addressing existing and proposed drinking water standards for PFAS in states across the US. I am also interested in the development and practice of systematic review and systematic evidence mapping methodology, especially in the context of environmental health.
