Dr. Fix, in collaboration with the SaferCare Texas Patient Safety Institute, has developed a patient education tool, the Medication Safety Tip Sheet. Her research involves establishing the usefulness of the tool and exploring where in the healthcare delivery system would maximize its impact to enhance the patient experience and elevate drug adherence and patient self-awareness while reducing drug misadventures.
