I currently practice as a clinical pharmacist in the Center for Older Adults at the HSC Health Clinic. In this role I provide pharmacotherapy management services under a collaborative drug therapy management protocol. My clinical interests include diabetes management, cardiovascular disease prevention, heart failure management, alleviating barriers to medication access, and enhancing medication adherence. My scholarly interests include improving medication adherence in older adults, best practices for limiting polypharmacy, student engagement on clinical rotations, and the impact of social determinants of health on medication use.
