Personal profile

Area of Expertise

After completing residency in 1990, our desire was to return to the West Texas area, which my wife and I both consider home. Since then, I have provided comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care through Midland Women’s Clinic in Midland, TX. In 2006, I stopped the obstetric care to focus on another area of passion, my missionary work in Russia. I am now fortunate enough to be able to divide my time between Russia and Midland. When in Moscow, Russia, I assist in running a family medical clinic, am involved in primary and preventive care medical education, and participate in medical missions to Central Siberia. Back in Midland, TX, I provide gynecological care focusing on contraception, well woman health, bleeding issues, menopausal symptoms, pelvic prolapse and minimally invasive surgery. In 2017, I became involved with UNTHSC through their joint venture with Midland College and Midland Memorial Hospital to create the Primary Pathways Program which offers local West Texas students an accelerated path towards a medical degree. During their third year of medical school, the students return to Midland, TX, where I serve as the program’s clinical site coordinator.
